Because I’m a hopeless addict, I’ll again be participating in this year’s NaNoWriMo. If you don’t know what that is, and you want to write a book, go check it out. If you are participating, buddy me!
Since I’m only halfway through The Artificer’s Angels, I’ll be finishing that this year. I have a badass ending in mind, and a fuzzy idea about the middle, and too many main characters. I hope I can juggle them all.
I’ve been in a NaNo-ing mood lately…I’m very excited about my novel.
Ooh. What’s the premise?
It’s going to be about a group of teenagers who start a rock band. XD. It’ll probably be totally cliche, but it should be fun.
I definitely feel it coming on. I’m enjoying the outlining and “Has this trope been tromped too many times?” research.
I need to start that. Actually, I need to end part 2 of my book, and look at the second half in its own terms, methinks. It’s too big to hold all at once.
What do you have in mind thus far?
I wish I had the energy to do NaNoWriMo.
I have so many things going semi-wrong right now that I just can’t even imagine trying. But I’m hoping to finish Haunting Miss Trentwood soon so I can maybe get it out in time for late October release in time for Halloween… Fingers crossed.
I read about the research going missing– I’m so sorry, Belinda.
Good luck on Miss Trentwood. We’re rooting for you!
I hope to have my current project finished and ready for betas by the time NaNo rolls around, but maybe I could jump in with a backburner project…
Man, every year I swear I won’t do NaNo, and then 12:00 AM Nov. 1st I’m sitting there writing.
Heh. I’m always giddy for it weeks if not months in advance. Probably because I know my attention span drops off. I never finished a book before discovering NaNo, and now I can’t seem to stop.
Can’t wait for Nano this year. Actually have an idea that doesn’t feel like a throw away.
